A year after the attacks on Mumbai, thousands gathered for a memorial service in the Colaba part of Mumbai.

These video snapshots attempt to capture the mood of the year-anniversary of the attacks: candle-lighting, protests, prayers, the illuminated Gateway of India, the distant bellowing voice of the memorial speaker, the active police force, and many, many thousands of people.
